Our color reference is based on the Color Bars, which emerged in the early days of color TV
and were used for video equipment calibration. They are a memorable icon in the history of audiovisual technology.
For P8 Films, we have recreated them in a more laid-back and modern manner, capturing the bold essence of the brand.
Additionally, we have balanced these vibrant colors with black and light beige, adding the sophistication that the brand requires.
A concept aligned with the Color Bars of tube TVs is the VHS era—a time when multiple generations gathered to watch cinema classics or record family moments with VHS-C.
From this era, we draw various aesthetics that align with our project without sacrificing modernity and contemporaneity.
We've worked on incorporating negative space, inspired by the shape of cassette tapes, creating the sensation of a portal or screen for all audiovisual possibilities.
